You can now track the application status of your ID and/or passport, both online as well as by SMS.

This allows a user to either go straight to the National Registration Bureau (NRB) Services or the Immigration Services.

1. NRB

The short code used here is 2031. The services available include:

Tracking progress of ID Processing accessible by sending the 9 digit serial number issued to them on application to 2031
A help menu that enables the user to access user assistance by sending HELP to 2031
A question posting option by sending a message starting with NIDQUEST followed by the question and sending the message to 2031
A compliment and comment posting option by sending a message starting with NIDCOM followed by the compliment or suggestion and sending the message to 2031

2. Immigration

The short code used here is 2032. The services available include:

Tracking progress of passport Processing accessible by sending the 9 digit tracking number issued to them on application to 2032
A help menu that enables the user to access user assistance by sending HELP to 2032
A question posting option by sending a message starting with PPQUEST followed by the question and sending the message to 2032
A compliment and comment posting option by sending a message starting with PPCOM followed by the compliment or suggestion and sending the message to 2032
