About this Site

Site purpose
This site is the primary publication medium for official information about the e-government programme in Kenya. It is also the home for the various implementations of e-government operations, e.g. standards that have been developed and are now in use.

Site audience
The primary audience is the Kenyan the citizenry, the government employees, officials and politicians. The secondary audiences include the information technology supplier community, industry groups and community organizations.

Site design
This site has been designed to adhere to the Government Web Guidelines, meet W3C WAI A guidelines or higher and conform to industry "best practice" for web development. We have carried out a self-assessment based on the Government Web Guidelines.

We will continue to enhance site accessibility in response to changes in the Guidelines and feedback from users.
